Common Proficiency Test for CA is required only for the students enrolling through the direct entry path after completion of their higher secondary examinations.
After registration, the examination can be given after the completion of 4 months from the date of registration.
For example, if you register before 30th June/31st December, then you can appear for the examination in the November/May Examination as the case maybe.
Also this course is exempt for students who have:
1. Graduated from any recognised university including open university
2. Cleared the intermediate examination from the the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of India or The Institute of Chartered Secretaries of India
Students under the above mentioned category can directly register and apply for intermediate examinations.
